Derby victory in front of a record crowd
What an evening for our men of SPG Motor Cunewalde/ Schönbacher FV.
In front of about 250 spectators, the team deservedly won the bottom-of-the-table derby against SG Wilthen 3:1 (2:0). Thanks to goals by Thunig and Striegler in the first half, as well as the strike by Bauer, the team was already able to celebrate their third home win in 2023. The only sour note to the win was the penalty for our guests in the 90th minute.
But in the end it didn't matter at all. The joy over the important 3 points was clearly greater.
Great to celebrate a home win in front of that crowd. Our little ultras, Junge Wilde Cunewalde, really delivered.
Many thanks for that 🙏
Pictures and videos from the whole weekend will follow shortly 👍
