Christmas party of Cunewalde's C youth
As a reward for the successful first half of the season with the finishing as autumn champion, they went to Liberec for the Christmas party to watch Bílí Tygři Liberec play ice hockey.
They were able to celebrate a 4:1 derby victory against Mlada Boleslav, and the match offered everything that makes ice hockey great. There were goals, hard battles and even a fistfight.
The team sat directly behind the goal; the pucks flew towards them repeatedly, but fortunately they were protected by the plexiglass. Afterwards they went to the pizzeria "UNO" in Löbau for dinner. There the day wound down over pizza and pasta.
Many thanks to Wolfgang Nicke (grandfather of the coach) for sponsoring the tickets. Thanks also to Matthias Bär and Steffen Wagner, who made themselves available as drivers.
Everyone agreed it was a pleasant outing that the whole team enjoyed and will remember.
