HALLElujah Football Tournament 2024 with the E-Youth
Our two Cunewalder E-youth teams took part in our own HALLElujah on Saturday.
After two games, you could hardly believe your eyes: the second team was at the top of the table after wins against LSV Friedersdorf e.V. and GFC Rauschwalde. The first couldn’t keep up! After their opening win they lost the second match against SV Blau-Weiss Deutsch-Ossig Fanpage.
Unfortunately the last two matches were lost by the E2, but they did manage to score the only goal against the tournament winner FK Varnsdorf. So in the end they finished a respectable 5th, which nobody had expected of the young squad.
The Cunewalder E1 claimed the bronze medal in the final game with a victory over Friedersdorf. A better placing was prevented by two unnecessary 0:1 defeats against Deutsch-Ossig and Varnsdorf.
Fabian Paukstadt was named to the All-Star team. Congratulations!
We congratulate FK Varnsdorf on winning the tournament!
Thanks to all the helpers who supported and assisted us at the tournament! That’s what club work looks like.
Thanks to all players, coaches, parents and fans.
The SG Motor Cunewalde was once again able to present itself well regionally and beyond.
