HALLElujah Football Tournament 2024 with the D-Youth team
The D-youth teams took part on Saturday at the Cunewalder HALLElujah, following the E-youth.
Unfortunately there was nothing we could do against our strong guests.
Thus SG Motor Cunewalde 1 earned one point in the group stage against the Sportfreunde of SV Preußen Elsterwerda. The SG Motor Cunewalde 2 came away empty-handed despite a great fight and finished the preliminary round bottom of the table.
The two Dresden clubs marched through the preliminary round and faced Bischofswerdaer FV 08 and SV Post Germania Bautzen e.V. in the semifinals. They also overcame those hurdles and met each other in the final for the big showdown.
In the final SC BOREA Dresden beat Dresdner SC 1898 - Fußball 2:0 and won the HALLElujah 2024.
In the match for ninth place SG Motor Cunewalde 1 prevailed in the penalty shootout 3:2.
For our boys and girls the tournament was a real adventure and a valuable lesson in what is possible.
We congratulate SC Borea Dresden on winning the tournament!
Thanks to all the helpers who supported and assisted us during the tournament. That's what club work is all about.
Thanks to all players, coaches, parents and fans
The SG Motor Cunewalde was once again able to present itself well regionally and beyond.
We thank our sponsors and supporters.
