Well-deserved victory with a bitter aftertaste
At the beginning of last week we received some very sad news. Ronny Schaller suffered a serious knee injury in the last home match against TSV 90 Neukirch 1.Männermannschaft.
Unfortunately, Ronny will have to end his active career as a result of this injury.
With the photo the team showed that they thank you for your commitment and that you will STILL ALWAYS remain part of the team.
The entire club wishes you a speedy recovery and continues to count on your involvement in the club — in whatever role!
Now to the match...
After the victory in the away thriller in Burkau, they wanted to continue collecting points to establish themselves in the upper half of the table.
The Seifarth-Team likewise got off to a flying start. With their very first chance they took the lead. Bachmann finished off a Striegler delivery after just 4 minutes to make it 1:0. A double strike from Striegler and Mieth earned them a deserved lead at halftime.
In the second half it was much the same. Cunewalde combined repeatedly to get in front of the goal against overwhelmed visitors and increased the score through Brabandt, Mieth and Bachmann to 6:0!
Nothing now stood in the way of the next three points. The coaching staff’s most important instruction at halftime — today the back line must finally keep a clean sheet!!! — was carried out by the team, which rewarded itself for a unified team performance.
The coming Easter weekend is free of matches.
