CunewaldeOur D junior girls traveling with Bischofswerda
Our two D-Juniors Mira Pfeifer and Annalena Nixdorf were with Bischofswerdaer FV 08 at the state tournament for the championship round in Flöha near Chemnitz.
BFV08 got off to a very good start, in pouring rain, with a 3:0 victory over 1. FFC Fortuna Dresden-Juniorinnen in the tournament.
After that we earned a point against co-favorites SV Ludwigsdorf 48 when we played to a 0:0 draw. In the next match we managed a 3:1 win against 1.FFC Chemnitz after coming from behind.
There was nothing to be gained against SpG Neustadt/Jößnitz/Erlbach and so we lost 1:0; nevertheless the girls didn’t give up and won the last game 2:1 against the girls from DFC Westsachsen Zwickau. The girls put in a very solid performance; luck in front of goal wasn’t on our side, but we still secured a very good 3rd place, only missing second place due to goal difference!
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE GIRLS AND COACH SARAH!!
