Table Tennis - Strong victory at the 2nd district ranking event for U19
On Sunday, 7 June 2026, the Bezirksrangliste 2 for Youth U19 of the Spielbezirk Ostsachsen Pulsnitz was held. Nine youths from Ostsachsen competed to determine three qualifiers for the qualification tournament to Rangliste 1 of the STTV on 28 June 2026 in Döbeln. For our table tennis department of SG Motor Cunewalde, 15‑year‑old Friedemann Blümel had qualified for this tournament.
Thus, after eight very exciting and demanding matches, Friedemann became tournament winner with 7:1 points thanks to the better set ratio ahead of Richard Hilse, who had the same number of points, and qualified for the STTV tournament in Döbeln. Third place was taken by Finn Lehmann with 5:3 points. Congratulations! Friedemann was looked after by our youth officer Ralf Weickert.
