Motorenschmiede Summer Festival
Summer festival of the Motorenschmiede
Heat battle at the Cunewalder Eichberg...that’s how one could title this year’s end-of-summer celebration of our youth academy.
From 3 pm the football department invited all youth players to a relaxed afternoon on the grass pitch. In addition to a bouncy castle, several small stations were available for our youngest, which were very well received. At football darts shooting accuracy was tested, in the juggling competition ball technique was decisive, and the speed measurement focused on shot power and technique.
To cool the kids down our sprinkler system ran continuously. That made it bearable even in the heat.
At the end of the public part the top performers in each year group were honored for their achievements at the various stations.
There was also a small surprise for our referees Leonie, Mey, Jannik, Marco and Olaf. They received a smart presentation shirt so they can proudly represent their club.
Our stewards René and Stefan were also delighted to receive a smart new shirt and a small gift basket from Fleischerei Kutschke. Their commitment behind the scenes is not a given and is far too seldom acknowledged.
Many thanks to all those honored for your commitment to the club. We hope to be able to count on you for a long time to come.
After lots of activity we moved on to the social part of the evening. Over a tasty barbecue people chatted about the past season and already made plans for the new season.
From 10 pm we watched Germany’s second group match together before, around 1 am, the last party guest left Eichberg.
Thank you for the lovely afternoon and the successful evening. Wishing a pleasant summer break to all active players, coaches, supervisors, parents, helpers and, of course, the loyal fans of the SG MOTOR CUNEWALDE
Special thanks go to:
1. Ostsächsische Fußballschule e. V. - kickfixx (bouncy castle)
