Junge Wilde Cup 2022 Part 2 E-Youth

Junge Wilde Cup 2022 Part 2 E-Youth
Sunday morning and the sun has been shining over the Cunewäldner Eichberg since 08:00. After the opening of this tournament weekend with the F-youth tournament was more than successful, Part II was to follow today! 8 E-youth teams (2 from Kreis KM, 2 from Raum DD and 4 from our Kreis) faced each other today in a round-robin format.

As yesterday, matches were played simultaneously on two pitches. At the outset our little firecrackers immediately had to take on Dresdner Sportclub 1898. Today the fighting heart had to be shown right from the start. The SGM got off to a really good start but quickly realized that tougher opponents would be on the pitch today. The Dresdner were immediately present, and it turned into a lively game. Our Marc in goal had his hands full to keep our SGM in the match. But he couldn’t prevent the 0:1 and the 0:2. Shortly before the end our kickers took advantage of a lapse by the Dresdner and, after a nice counter, buried the ball for the 1:2 consolation goal in the net (goal Theo). Unfortunately that wasn’t enough for more, and the narrow opening defeat remained.

In the other game, meanwhile, the kickers of SV Sankt Marienstern Abt. Fußball - ST Swjata Marijina hwězda wotr. kopańca surprised SV Oberland Spree and won 1:0. The opening games were really something to see and the level would remain high.

In the 2nd game against SV Sankt Marienstern our Team I could not get past a 0:0, struggling a bit with finishing at the end but at least ending up with 4 points on the board! Our Team II was unfortunately overrun by Weistropper ICE. But even after the 0:6 they didn’t hang their heads and still managed to score the 1:6 (Darek) consolation goal.

That’s exactly what our coach wants to see. “Giving up is not an option” and “every game moves us forward” are his golden rules. It’s really nice to see how the kids get better week by week and try to implement as best as possible everything the coaching team teaches them.

The first defeat for Team I was inflicted on us by SV Oberland/Spree (0:2). Also in the match against SG Nebelschütz there was unfortunately nothing more than the 0:2 defeat for Team II. Well, by then at the latest we knew that today it would not be about the top places. The field of participants was simply too strong for that. But coach Riccardo wants to achieve exactly that, because after all different teams will be waiting in our placement round (starting 26.03.22)!

In the I vs II duel Team II went deservedly ahead 1:0 (Lukas), before Moritz, Theo and our Annalena turned the match in spectacular fashion. In the game against the Nebelschütz side it was already about the top places for Team I, so a win was necessary. Theo and Moritz then relieved the fans on the sidelines and they won 2:0.

So now it really was about 3rd place against Weistropper SV. Many nice duels and fierce challenges shaped the match. An own goal put us on the losing track. You fought bravely, you “little firecrackers”, but in the end the visitors from Klipphausen triumphed 2:0. But with a 4:1 (Mira, 2x Timo and Theo) against the F1 of Bautzner Budissen (they will officially play E-youth only next season) the 4th place was secured! TOP result, I’d say!!!!

Our Team II also had their success. In the last game of the day they beat SV Sankt Marienstern 2:1 (Darek, Lukas). Great job and that will now be built upon.

The winner of the tournament was Dresdner SC 1998 - closely followed by SV Oberland/Spree and Weistropper SV! CONGRATULATIONS, you did a great job and earned it!!!

Also today an “Allstar Team” was chosen again by the coaches and supervisors and the kids were of course very happy about it. Who wouldn’t want to have their “little” trophy on the bedside table.

“Allstar E-youth”
Emilio Wenzel FSV Budissa Bautzen e.V. F1
Tyler Bänsch FSV Budissa BZ F1
Marc Maison Martin SG Motor I
Milad Lali DSC 1998
Franz Alscher Weistropper SV
Finn Lange SV Oberland/Spree
Lukas Sauer SV Nebelschütz
Of course, CONGRATULATIONS for that too!!! That was top-class football you showed us.

It was really wonderful to see so many joyful children’s faces throughout the weekend. After the many, many positive feedbacks we also know that it brought you just as much joy as it did US, the SG Motor Cunewalde!!!! THANK YOU to everyone who was there (around 550 people attended over the whole weekend) moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas, friends, classmates and even the Cunewäldner “expert audience”.

We would especially like to thank Maik Baier, owner of Ironpaint Tattoostudio.
THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU

Also thanks to Netto Deutschland (fruit and vegetables free for all kids throughout the weekend) a huge THANK YOU — great that we can rely on you!!!

Furthermore, big kisses go to the Pech-Bäcker and “Fleicherei Hempel” Cunewalde, everything tasted delicious. Our Kreissparkasse Bautzen also supported us again with small gifts for the children….. MANY THANKS for everything!!! A big kiss also goes to all the players’ mums and dads who sacrificed more than just this weekend!!! You are GREAT.

In the end one can rightfully say: “That was publicity for our village, for our club and for our youth”!!!!
