A Sunday couldn't be better — wins for our C and F juniors
Sunday morning, just 3 degrees above zero but brilliant sunshine ☀️! What could be better than traveling to an away game in Burkau. Hard pitch ☝️😎 so in other words “kickabout atmosphere” …. it makes the hearts of the older ones among us beat faster under these conditions. Our C youth, however, first had to really internalize what these circumstances meant today 🦾😎
After our win last week we definitely wanted to build on it in Burkau today and put the finishing touch on it. The nice thing right away - it’s really great when the kids want to carry out the coaches’ instructions 100% (or at least try)!!! Already in the 2nd minute Max Herz (1st goal of the season) opened the scoring spree 🦾‼️ Colin added one in the 6th minute and we could take things a bit easier. From an outside perspective it was exactly the kind of football we can and want to play. The defense stood firm and the midfield/attack were very agile and always tried to be available for a pass.
We created numerous other good chances, but it took an own goal (34th min) to definitively steer the game in our direction. When Colin then increased it to 0:4 in the 35th minute ☝️🤩 there was nothing left but to be proud of ourselves…. The second half started very evenly with slight territorial advantages for SV Burkau e.V. - but our defense around captain Dominik Kaltenbrunn really had the right answer in every situation. Yes, everything really came together today; even our substitutes were immediately there, immediately present and always focused🦾😍 With the 0:5 (Colin 51st min) and the 0:6 (Ben Bergner 65th min) Burkau’s will was also broken. The conclusion after the game was accordingly positive; of course there’s always something to improve or in one situation or another you could be more ruthless - but let’s keep things in perspective! A really very good game and a very cohesive team performance by our SG MOTOR CUNEWALDE!!! It’s also worth highlighting how everyone fought and worked hard at the end to keep the clean sheet for our Bianca 🦾🦾🦾‼️ So now we’re allowed to be happy for 2 days, then we’ll get back to work properly - we want to give everything in the last home game of the year…. Thanks to the hosts SV Burkau for the game and of course we wish you every success for the rest of the season!
We’ll gladly welcome the rest next Sunday when at 11:00 🕚 it’s once again about 3 points against FSV Bretnig/ Hauswalde ‼️❤️🤍⚽️
A word for Sunday also to our F youth team who today were able to celebrate their 2nd win of the season (10:0 🦾🦾🦾) over SV Oberland/Spree II.! It’s exactly YOU who show us that the path we want to take over the next few years is exactly the right one…. CONGRATULATIONS ☝️😍❤️🤍
