D juniors from Cunewalde excited for the indoor season
Our Cunewalder D team was also in continuous action over the weekend. On Saturday we were guests of Post Germanen and on Sunday we went to visit our sporting friends the Seenlandkicker.
At Post Germanen the group stage was mixed. They lost to the hosts and to SG Weixdorf, so the win against the Schiebocker was unfortunately of no use and they missed the semi-final.
As a result they played for 5th place and we won that against Hochkirch 2:1. A 5th place is recorded, which is an impressive result for the newly formed squad.
Standings:
1. JFV ONFA Kamenz
2. SC BOREA Dresden
3. SG Weixdorf
4. SpG SV Post Germania Bautzen /FSV Budissa Bautzen I
5. SG Motor Cunewalde
6. SV Grün Weiß Hochkirch
7. SpG SV Post Germania Bautzen /FSV Budissa Bautzen II
8. Bischofswerdaer FV 08
Moving on to Sunday! Either the boys and girls celebrated too much or who knows what! Result-wise only the win in the game for 9th place was positive. In the preliminary round they unfortunately lost all games without scoring a goal.
There are days like that. Chin up and onward.
Standings
1. SC BOREA Dresden
2. Seenlandkicker I
3. SV Zeißig
4. SV Grün Weiß Schwepnitz
5. SpVgg Lohsa/ Weißkolm
6. Seenlandkicker III
7. Lsv Bergen
8. Seenlandkicker II
9. SG Motor Cunewalde
10. SG Motor Wilsdruff
Here too we see development not only among the footballers but also with our two prospective coaches. Forward always, backward never!
Thanks to all the footballers, coaches, parents and grandparents and the voluntary helpers in our club!
Thanks to the organizers of the tournaments; they were, as usual, superbly organized.
