Spectacular Cunewalder F-Youth at the indoor tournament in Kirschau
At today's indoor tournament of SV Oberland Spree our F team was in action.
The group stage was no problem for the players from the most beautiful valley of the Oberlausitz; they finished it without conceding a goal and in 1st place.
Then came the semi-final against Thonberger Sportclub 1931 e.V. Unfortunately we conceded our first goals there and, after a sleepy start that gave us the 0:1 goal in the 2nd second, we ultimately lost 0:2.
Chin up, the third-place match is still ahead!! Here our players showed their potential again and gave TSV 1859 Wehrsdorf no chance, winning 3:0.
Standings:
1. Thonberger SC 1931
2. Königswarthaer SV I
3. SG Motor Cunewalde
4. TSV 1859 Wehrsdorf
5. SV Oberland Spree
6. DJK Sokol Ralbitz/Horka
7. Königswarthaer SV II
8. SV Gaußig
A great result, especially considering the potential of the boys and girls. They're on the right track!
THANKS to SV Oberland for the well-organized tournament.
