Derby win to end the season
With a 7:1 rout, the Seifarth-Elf are heading into a well-deserved summer break.
Against a partly overwhelmed Wehrsdorfer side, Böhme, Bachmann, Mieth (2x), Striegler (2x) and Gehrmann found the net for our colours. We thank the more than 70 spectators who gathered at Eichberg despite the weather and supported us.
Besides the huge reason to celebrate finishing 6th in the championship (greetings to Crostwitz😉), it was unfortunately also time to say goodbye to three pillars of the men’s team. With Dominique Neumeister (assistant coach and former player) and Stephan Mitscherlich (player and former player-coach) we are losing two strong pillars who always gave 100% on and off the pitch.
Many thanks again here for your commitment!!
Also, as a player from the new season Ronny Schaller will no longer be available to us. Due to a serious knee injury he must unfortunately hang up his boots. We are nevertheless pleased to have him remain with the club. He will replace "Dodo" as assistant coach and pass on his experience, especially to the younger players.
We are glad that you want to take this path with us and wish you a speedy recovery!
