Joint team with Schönbacher FV
As you've probably noticed in recent days and weeks, an announcement has been made about the newly formed combined team. Since there has already been good cooperation at the full-field level, there will, for the first time in the men's section for the coming season, be a combined team with Schönbacher FV and SG Motor Cunewalde e.V..
Because the player pool has recently been small and options were being sought to once again compete successfully in the top half of the table, and because there is good cooperation in the full-field youth sector and also among the veterans, the board and the team decided to take this step. Prior to this, meetings were already held with both teams where all circumstances and conditions were agreed. From now on the team will compete as SpG Motor Cunewalde/Schönbacher FV. Matches will be played in Schönbach and in Cunewalde. The team will play in the Kreisliga under coach Hagen Broda. What is new, however, is that they will compete in the Westlausitz-Liga. Training takes place on Tuesdays in Cunewalde and on Thursdays in Schönbach at 7 p.m.
Schönbacher FV invites all fans, sponsors and members to support the teams at friendlies, home matches and away trips.
