Our F juniors impressed at the second Buddenhagen-Cup for the E youth
After the Hexenbrennen-Cup our F1 moved straight on to Freital. Our girls and boys set off a real football fireworks display at the 2. Buddenhagen‑Cup on May 1st and showed how much heart, team spirit and joy of playing this team has. With 5 wins, 3 draws and not a single defeat in regular time, our team was one of the strongest in the entire tournament. Every match was proof of how closely the kids have come together and how much passion they bring to the pitch.
Our tournament highlights:
• Undefeated in all regular-time matches
• 20 goals – pure attacking power
• Strong performances against Freital, Struppen, Rabenau & Co.
• Even convincingly beat a U11‑team
• Girls and boys who fight for each other and push one another
• A team that grew stronger with every minute
From the start it was clear: Cunewalde is on fire today! After an intense 1:1 against SC Freital e.V., a spectacular 4:3 followed against Pretzschendorfer SV – a true goal frenzy. Then our team got into a flow: 5:1 against SV Struppen, 2:0 against SG Freital‑Weissig U10, 4:1 against the U11 – pure dominance! Even in the last two matches the team showed character and earned two important draws against SG Kesselsdorf and Sv Rabenau.
No collapse, no drop-off – simply strong. That was second place in the final standings!
This team didn't just play football – they thrilled. Our kids showed what is possible when team spirit, courage and joy for the game come together.
We are incredibly proud of you!
Keep it up!
