F-Youth Tournament Netto Deutschland -Cup 2022
F-Youth „Netto Deutschland -Cup“
On Sunday as many as 10 teams went after the big trophy. SG Motor wanted to have a say. Taking part were SG Steinigwolmsdorf, Schönbacher FV, SV Post Germania Bautzen, Königswarthaer SV, FSV Neusalza-Spremberg, SV Oberland Spree, FSV Budissa Bautzen with 2 teams as well as the SG Motor Cunewalde.
Our Team 1 also marched very confidently through the group stage: 12 points – 12:1 goals!!! Today they wanted to aim high!
The SG Motor Cunewalde 2 unfortunately didn’t have it so easy, but they gave everything in every game. The small taste of success could only be celebrated in the match for 7th place. There they beat Schönbacher FV 2:1 after a 9m shootout. The first team demonstrated its ambitions to win the „Netto Deutschland -Cup“ in the semi-final with a 3:0 over SV Oberland.
In the final, as in the first match of the tournament, they met Bautzner Budissen 1. The final was incredibly tense, fiercely contested with good chances on both sides; it was 0:0 after regular time. The winner had to be decided by a 9m shootout. This time luck was not on our side and FSV Budissa Bautzen 1 became tournament winner. Of course a few tears were shed briefly, BUT in the end everyone was more than proud of this success at the „Netto Deutschland -Cup“ 2022.
Annalena Nixdorf (Team II) was unanimously voted best player of the tournament!!!! Respect and of course CONGRATULATIONS Annalena on this achievement!!!
Moritz Bonk was crowned top scorer with 6 goals. CONGRATULATIONS to you too!
We thank our sponsor NETTO-Deutschland for providing the prizes and the gifts for all teams.
A big thank you goes to all the moms and dads who really pitched in, THANK YOU also to our 1st men’s team for your support (tournament management, referees, delivery and resupply services)
THANK YOU to all teams!!!! We hope you enjoyed it.
